I’m a product of mi madre’s sacrifices and commitment to better her child's circumstances as an immigrant. Even though we lived in a converted garage, and poor, she made sure I had a piano to practice with (it was an old beat-up upright).
I wrote this song in memory of her and her vision of embracing adversity through music, and creating a better world for her kid. I hope the music waves of this song reach her soul wherever she is now. Are you or your parents Original Dreamers?
